It means promoting the quality of life in a community, through both political and non-political processes. Civic space and civil society participation make for critical contributions to the effective prevention of conflict and the fight against impunity and corruption.

PHAWI’s intervention in this regard includes providing young people with the tools and knowledge to engage in civic activities and create a better future for themselves and their communities. We also engage in a number of innovative, catalytic, and startup projects ranging from training of young people for leadership and opening space for youth empowerment and democratic governance to tackling political apathy.
